| Dentics Feature Overview |
Expense Entry
This function allows users to enter and track all monthly expense activity. Once activity is entered you will be able to utilize the informative reporting system to do the analysis of the data.
Goal Entry
Goals are generally established once a year. You should have a good business plan for managing your expenses prior to entering values in this function. Goals are set at the Detail Account level. Therefore, Master Account goals are the sum of the subordinate Detail Account goals.
Account Entry
Dentics has three levels of accounts. Each of which can have sub-accounts.
First, are the Classifications(i.e. 1-Major Operational Expense).
Then under that Class you have the Master Accounts which fall under each Class (i.e. 8000-Employee Expenses).
Finally, the lowest account level, Detail Accounts which fall under each Master Account (i.e. 8001-Net Staff Salaries)

Production Entry
Monthly Activity
This is one of the most frequently used functions in Dentics. With Monthly Production Activity You will enter the activity for a given producer per month. Once the activity is entered in you may then use the reporting function to analyze your data.
Producers
This function allows for the entry of Producer's. Producers are other dentists, hygienists in your practice that you would like to track and analyze those persons monthly and annual activity.
Categories
Production Categories are the types of functions your producers perform. (i.e. Crown and Bridge, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Implant Placement, etc...) Production Categories are set each year and are typically the same each year. The Categories may be entered accordingly to fit the needs of your practice.
Office Statistics
This function allows you to record monthly statistics that apply to your entire practice/ office. (i.e. Number of Days Open, Avg. Hrs per Day Open, Total Nbr of Active Patients, etc...) Office Statistics function also tracks Receivables and Collections.

System-Wide Features
AktaTrak provides full security system for all users of the system including login ID, password, customized main menu layouts, and customized reporting menu options. Each screen also includes date, time, and user name, who last modified the record.
The system has automatic error detection and archiving mechanism installed to log any system runtime or network error so that Aktabase Technology can quickly diagnose and repair any problems. No need to try and explain what happened!
Many data entry screens include the record duplication feature, along with the individual field duplication function to keep data entry minimal.
Database Maintenance Tools
Database management tools are provided to allow routine maintenance on system/database files ensuring they are operating at peek performance.
Database verification routine highlights potential corruption and automatically repairs the database.
Aktabase also provide a manual function for backing up system databases. It is HIGHLY recommended that your business/practice maintains its own set of data backup procedures.

Reporting System
Dentics utilizes an exclusive design technique for inquiry and reporting, hundreds of report combinations are available.
All generated reports are filtered through an Dentics utility allowing review on screen, export to a file, or print multiple copies at any printer. Export files include but are not limited to: PDF, Word, Excel, IMAP/email, and many more.
Automatic printer setup switching for different report dimensions. No need to manually adjust printer, reporting system automatically sets printer for each report.
